Lincroft is the designated middle school for children who have been to Pinchmill Lower School in Felmersham, Oakley Lower School, Milton Ernest Lower School, Ursula Taylor Lower School in Clapham, and Bromham Lower School and St. James’ Church of England VA Lower School in Biddenham.
After completing their middle school education at Lincroft, most students progress to Sharnbrook Upper School in the nearby village of Sharnbrook. Some, however, move on to other local schools, like Biddenham Upper School or Wootton Upper School.
Bedford Borough Council has decided to implement a two-tier education system in the borough, meaning that all middle schools in the area will close. The changes are due to take effect from September 2014, and will mean that the current site of Lincroft Middle School will be used to accommodate an enlarged Sharnbrook School.
